Through art, beauty, culture, design, fashion, film, music, photography and more, our magazine serves all manner of artist, designer, and creative in the Midwest and acts as a centerpiece of community for our readers.

AMIDST Creatives of the Midwest is an online community and digital resource founded by AMIDST magazine as a platform for Midwest creatives to learn from one another through experience and connect in a vibrant community of artists, creatives, and makers from across the twelve Midwest states
We bring together Creatives of the Midwest to develop meaningful connections, explore artistic identity, support community over competition, and collaborate across creative disciplines in the Midwest.

We are looking for Midwest creatives who want to share their stories. AMIDST publishes visually rich, experience-focused stories by creatives of the Midwest. We are looking for content that explores what is means to be a creative human, what it means to be a creative Midwesterner, and pieces that explore creative expression, identity, and experience.
Our eight disciplines (art, beauty, culture, design, fashion, film, music, and photography) are intentionally broad. Stories may fit in more than one category. We are all complicated, multi-faceted individuals and here at AMIDST we celebrate that. We encourage you to fill out the form below to start a conversation.
